Wedding Bouquet Preservation

As someone who loves flowers, I made sure to have so many beautiful flowers at my own wedding. My bouquet looked like a masterpiece and the florist did incredible work on our centerpieces, wedding arch, and even our cake. The flowers were so present in our wedding and cost a good amount, so saving some of these flowers was so important to me and inspired me to pressed and dry as many as I could.
I now offer wedding bouquet preservation services and would be delighted and honored to help make your bouquet a lasting piece of art that will hold so many special memories for you. I can press both bridal and bridesmaids’ bouquets and are happy to talk about other options as well.

How It Works
With any flower preservation, the sooner the process is started, the better. We will talk about dates and arrange a plan for getting the flowers to me. Once the flowers are in my possession, I will immediately begin the pressing and drying process. When the flowers are ready, I will create a piece based on what we have discussed. After I have the flowers in place, you will receive a photo and any changes can be made. After this, I will take special care to glue your flowers and finalize the piece. There are framing options available. Then you will receive your preserved bouquet!

Timeline
Pressing flowers requires patience and skill. I will receive the flowers within 3 days of the wedding to ensure optimal preservation. I recommend assigning someone else the role of getting the flowers to me because you will have many other things on your mind! The drying process can take several weeks depending on the types of flowers. Because I put in the greatest care when creating your final piece, it may take up to 2-3 months to receive your bouquet. But it’s worth the wait!

Important Information
Because flowers are organic matter, not every flower will be the best or survive the pressing process as well as others. I will try to save as many as possible and choose the flowers to make the best final product for you. Please be aware that some flowers will brown, have light spotting or lines in them, or fade in color. Using flowers and greenery in art has the power to be exceptionally beautiful, but comes with natural (and often beautiful) “flaws.” The final product needs to be framed to prevent sun damage or further fading, I can frame pieces for an additional cost or you can provide me with a frame of your choice – all of this is up for discussion with tons of options available!

Pricing
To help make the process more affordable and allow for more options and flexibility for brides, I offer two price options based on if a bride wants to provide their own chosen frame or have me provide one. If you are choosing your own frame, you will provide it to me with your bouquet.
